Aimrite was established in 1998 to provide trigger mechanisms and accessories to some of the world’s finest custom speargun builders.  After perfecting one of the world’s most reliable trigger mechanisms, our focus switched to building a european trigger of equal quality, which then led to the manufacture of one of the best rail guns in the market to date.  Stationed in Hawaii, we consider this the birthplace of our Venom rail guns, and continue to maintain strong ties with the islands, however as the Aimrite line expanded so did our family with the birth of our son leading us to relocate to Australia.  In January of 2011, the move to the tropical North of Queensland was realized only to be followed by Cyclone Yasi a week later, devastating the exact small town which we relocated to.  Yasi was a Category 5 storm which destroyed one in every three homes, and our shop was severely damaged.  Undaunted by the circumstances, we forged forward and rebuilt our shop taking over 8 months to get back on our feet, but once we did we never looked back!

We currently build over 100 guns a month and are fast becoming recognised around the world as a premier railgun builder.  We strive to build the toughest most accurate railgun on the market using a heat treated stainless steel trigger and some of the thickest carbon fibre barrels produced.  We are extremely confident in the materials used that we offer a Lifetime Warranty on all our spearguns.  We have very few warranties, but our Lifetime Warranty is globally recognised and we work swiftly and diligently with the store in which you purchase the product from to rectify any problem that may occur.

Strong proponents of Junior divers and children’s charities, we do our best to sponsor and contribute to causes related to and to benefit juniors.

We have heard the call and demand for more products, and since the success of our rail guns we look to expand our range of products to include wetsuits, carbon fins and accessories.  With the expansion of our line comes the expansion of our company and we were not willing to sacrifice the level of service because of being overwhelmed with production and marketing so we were happy to include Travis Hogan into the Aimrite family.  Travis comes from a military background with the same ethics and love for the sport as Rick.  Heavily involved in Aimrite’s day to day operations, we are completely satisfied that he will uphold the integrity and standard of customer service that you all have come to know and expect.  We credit our success not only to the hard work, time and energy we’ve exuded over the past years, but also to our customers that enjoy using our products and that manage to land the fish of their dreams.  That makes it all worth it for us
